Lead sourcing and diligence for seed-stage crypto deals — infrastructure, DeFi and payments.
Responsibilities
- Source and qualify seed / Series A opportunities across crypto venture
- Lead due diligence workstreams and present recommendations to the investment committee
- Negotiate terms and manage closing process with legal and portfolio ops
- Build and maintain founder and co-investor relationships
- Mentor analysts and contribute to firm-wide investment thesis development
- Represent BlackRose at industry events and in the media where appropriate
Requirements
- 7+ years in venture capital, growth equity or senior operating role at a crypto company
- Track record of leading investments that reached meaningful outcomes
- Deep network among US crypto founders and co-investors
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to travel for deal work and quarterly partner meetings
